I stumbled across this blog a few days ago and read it in it's entirety in just a matter of two or three days. You had me hooked. There were times when I would squeal and 'x' out of the browser because I would get so frustrated with Annabell; there were times where I'd sigh and 'aww' out loud during the sentimental moments between Evans and Sharona; and there were of course the moments I'd laugh out loud or roll my eyes at Ed's whit. You are an amazing writer and have done a marvelous job. I’m so sad to see this blog end!

I read this on Sunday and was annoyed at the ending. I couldn't fathom how Tom would give up Sharona for Ed at the alter and no other brawl/ outcry would occur. But having read it again I can honestly say (bar the whole thing with the police, though I now understand what you were saying about tying up loose ends) that I enjoyed the ending. It was very well written - as ever. Congratulations! Adieu Mr Evans xx

You wonderful people have made this project worthwhile... There are a few others - lurkers, friends and presently absent readers - but it's been a real encouragement to have you five and the others continually commenting throughout.

Sawyer, good to finally meet you the other day (and Wildcard, you lurker!), I hope this ending worked for you!

Charles, I gave you so little and you've given me so much, it's no wonder you have so many avid fans yourself, with your selflessness.

Law Minx, fantastic to have you commenting on this last post after some absence, very flattering and I'm delighted you stopped by again...

Milady, as with Charles, you've been stalwart, right from such an early stage. I really appreciate it and will be dropping by to catch up on ROYDS very soon!

Dawtch, I'm delighted to have captured someone overtly not interested in this type of thing. I'm terribly sorry but it really is over. It's as well to know when to end, as when to begin...

...But it's not all bad.

For anyone, commentor or lurker, I have a previous website that I will post within the week for anyone who is interested enough to look at some of my older work...

And meanwhile, I'm starting a new site in around a month or so with a team, on which I may post more traditional blogging observations on life, but in a rather literary style...

And finally, I am now working a full length novel (although this project has actually amounted to double a novel - some 140,000 words) which I hope to have properly published in around two years.

And finally, finally, I'm going to turn Fate's Acquittal into a self-published volume in the next month or so. I'd be honoured if in due course those of you who have been so generously faithful to me would give me their addresses and I will send a copy of the book free of charge by way of thanks!

I expect I'll post this comment fully in a week or so once THE FINAL post has had a little longer to bask in glory.

Thanks again to all who've made this possible - not least the real Ed (a genuine great friend), the real Annabell (never again spoken to), the real Sharona (who I'll never stop loving) and finally the real Alice (who doesn't YET exist)!

What a powerful ending. Or beginning. It's sometimes risky to pull the heart strings like this, but you held the line here and it worked. The writing was simple and straightforward, just right to convey the high passion of the moment without falling over into melodrama. Well done!
